The QUIT, which has been leading research in the sociology of work in Spain over the last 30 years, has, as its fundamental aim, the development and consolidation of high-quality research in the fields of work, employment, and everyday life, focusing on the issues such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the study of the social actors, in particular trade unions (the analysis of their social strategies, their social bases, and the challenges they face due to changes in production and work), human resource management strategies (with special regard to work organisation, flexibility and the changes in the labour market), implementation of labour market policy, links between policy areas, the welfare state and flexicurity arrangements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the relationship between time, work and everyday life (the new demands of reorganisation of time are analysed, with special reference to the needs to reduce working time);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the crisis of employment and new perspectives on it (the strategies of the social partners towards this topic are analysed, as well as the effects of national and local policies on employment).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Website: <a href=\"https:\/\/quit.uab.cat\/en\/\">https:\/\/quit.uab.cat\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-team uagb-team__image-position-left uagb-team__align-left uagb-team__stack-tablet uagb-block-b0a6a262\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"uagb-team__image-crop-circle\" src=\"http:\/\/mainsoc.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Oscar-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" height=\"100\" width=\"100\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><div class=\"uagb-team__content\"><h3 class=\"uagb-team__title\"><strong>Oscar Molina<\/strong><\/h3><span class=\"uagb-team__prefix\"><\/span><p class=\"uagb-team__desc\"><strong>Oscar Molina<\/strong> is Associate Professor appointed to the Department of Sociology and researcher at the Sociological Research Centre on Everyday Life and Work \u2013 QUIT \/Institute for Labour Studies, Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona.<br>He obtained his PhD in Social and Political Science at the European University Institute (EUIFlorence), in 2004. His dissertation studied the changes in collective bargaining systems of Italy and Spain since the early 1980s. In addition, he works as correspondent in Spain for the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (EUROFOUND).<br>His PhD dealt with job quality in outsourced services. He is a predoctoral researcher in the project \u201cMAINSOC \u2013 Managing the Inflation Crisis through Social Dialogue\u201d.
